A classic PNFS sign. This one, located on the Macclesfield Canal near Jackson's Brickworks, directs walkers to Lyme Park, a large preserved country estate. The photo was taken on a cold and damp winter morning, so in the background you can see the canal and towpath stretching away into the morning mist, completely deserted.
